It is a happy day indeed if I come across one of the Sue Barton series by Helen Dore Boylston. Sometimes I skip in excitement. I don't have the complete set yet, which I see as a good thing...the rest are out there, somewhere, and it is my mission to find them! Sue Barton is so delightfully perfect, flawlessly enthusiastic and optimistic, with utter dedication and commitment to her 'vocation' as a nurse. Yah, more sugar anyone? Yes... escapism at its best.
